A Day In Greece

Greece is a summer 2018 hotspot, that should not be missed out this year! With its beautiful sandy beaches, to its incredible views, to the sensational array of food selection and best of all its historic locations.

Here are a few spots we visited while on this amazing trip!

Santorini Town

Located in the heart of Santorini. This historical spot was built by Uncle Nikolas with his bare hands to act as a form of shelter for himself and his boat. His wife also played a role in providing tasty local dishes to visitors from far and wide.

Next stop Kamara beach! According to myguidetogreece.com, this cosmopolitan beach resort is every tourist’s favorite spot, that’s why it was on our to-do list. With its clear deep blue water and black sand, it’s a no-brainer it’s a fave.

What’s a holiday without exciting your tastebuds! And the best place to enjoy some spicy seafood options is at the beach. I mean it’s going to be the catch of the day and fresh out of the sea.

Imagine going to Greece and not indulging in some creamy Greek yoghurt….. I don’t think so.

We left with our bellies filled with some greek delicacies and a memory that will last a lifetime in this beautiful island.

Next stop Athens! What’s better than walking on the same grounds that made history and breathing in the same air as some legends.

Olympia, Greece was the first place the Olympic games were held. From the 8th century BC to the 4th century AD the games were held every four years throughout classical antiquity.

Museum of Olympia

The Museum of Olympia is one of the most important museums in Greece. It is filled with historical artifacts that celebrate- the sanctuary of antiquity, the sanctuary of Zeus, father of both gods and men, where the Olympic games were born.

Some of these sculptures were made during the 5th century B.C, some of them include- The sculptured ornaments from the Temple of Zeus, Hermes of Praxiteles, Nike of Paionios and so on.
