Places to Visit

Amman: Jordan’s capital city and its largest one. It is also the political and cultural center of the country. This charming city has tons of places you can visit. The Amman Citadel to see some archeological ruins, the Roman theatre, the Jordan museum, rainbow street and the royal automobile museum

Petra: Fondly called the Rose city because of its pink sandstone cliffs. Take a tour of the ancient ruins, the museum, the monastery, go hiking and learn more about the city’s history.

Dead Sea: popular for being the lowest body of water on the surface of the earth, the high level of saline in the water means that it keeps swimmers afloat. The intriguing phenomena makes it a top choice for tourists.

Mount Nebo: For Christians, this place is of great significance as it is believed to be the first place that Moses got a view of the Promised Land before his death.

Seasons

Jordan has four seasons: Spring, Winter, Autumn and Summer. Spring (Mid- March, April, May and early June), Winter (December and January), Autumn (September and October) and Summer (May -October).

Arabic is the main language spoken in Jordan but you can be sure to find someone that speaks English if you’re in need.
