NCAA Announces Airports Opening Soon

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority announced on Thursday, the 27th of August, 2020 that Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos and Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja will resume partial international operations on 5th September, 2020.

However, the following airports will remain closed until a new date is determined and announced.

• Mallam Aminu Kano Int’l Airport
• Port Harcourt Int’l Airport Omagwa
• Akanu Ibiam Int’l Airport, Enugu

This automatically means that those who wish to book local and International flights can now do so as well as arrange Airport Transfers with Bolt, Treepz, Elegant Airport Transfers or Uber X, to their various Hotel accommodations.

5. Consumer Protection: The NCAA works to protect the rights and interests of air passengers by setting rules for issues such as airline ticketing, refunds, and customer service.

6. Security: The authority is involved in aviation security measures to safeguard airports, aircraft, and passengers from threats and acts of terrorism.

7. Environmental Regulation: The NCAA may also be involved in environmental initiatives related to aviation, such as noise reduction, emissions control, and sustainable aviation practices.
