The UAE Embassy has released an official statement to debunk the claims passed across social media about travel restrictions between the UAE (Dubai) and Nigeria.

There are NO TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS for those visiting the UAE from Nigeria.

However, TRAVELLERS FROM ALL COUNTRIES (INCLUDING NIGERIA) MUST SHOW NEGATIVE PCR TEST RESULTS WITHIN 92 HOURS OF TRAVELLING TO THE UAE IN ADHERENCE TO COVID-19 MEASURES.

At the moment, travel from Nigeria to the UAE remains limited due to the closure of the Nigerian airspace but the UAE Embassy in Abuja has continued to work closely with the Nigerian government to obtain the necessary approvals to facilitate travel between the two countries.

The UAE embassy calls on the public to verify the authenticity of such reports and to seek information from official sources.
