For consistently pushing the frontiers of innovation in the African online travel scene and providing exceptional travel experience for Nigerians, Africa’s leading online travel company, Wakanow, has been named Nigeria’s Best Online Travel Agency at the Nigeria Tourism Awards 2017 organised by the Nigerian Travel Week.

According to the organizers, Wakanow’s impressive performance and excellent service model in the Nigerian travel industry earned the nod of its customers to emerge the nation’s best online travel agency.

The annual award, which held at the prestigious Federal Palace Hotels on Saturday, November 25, is designed to celebrate the achievements of outstanding travel organizations, professionals and pacesetters in the nation’s tourism sector, with emphasis on excellent customer service and satisfaction.

Speaking of the award, the Group Managing Director of Wakanow, Mr. Obinna Ekezie, described the award as a demonstration of Wakanow’s unwavering commitment to exceed the expectations of its customers.

“We are really excited by this win because it further demonstrates that the Nigerian travelling public pays attention and cherishes our contributions as Nigeria’s first online travel company.

For us at Wakanow, this award is an inspiration to surpass the expectations we have set for ourselves as a company, and we will continue to lead from the front and shape a new narrative of travel in Africa and the world”, he said.
