Experience The Wheatbaker Hotel
The Wheatbaker situated in Ikoyi, the heart of Lagos, is 30 km away from Murtala Muhammed International Airport. On getting there, you will find world-class service fit for Nigeria ‘s finest luxury serving both foreign and domestic travelers. On getting to the hotel, I noticed that there’s a free private parking available which added to my convenience.
My taste buds could not but resist international and local cuisine that I enjoyed on its on-site restaurant plus I had my fill of drinks with a wide selection of drinks at the bar.
THE SARAYA DELI RESTAURANT
Let me zero in on one of the Wheatbaker’s restaurants: The Saraya Deli. Now the Saraya Deli is a favorite for small casual meetings and friends’ gatherings or corporate activities serving daily buffet, lunch and breakfast. This restaurant has a wide variety of classics such as made to order sandwiches, grills, fish and new salads during the day until 10 pm. If there’s room for more, you can order for its popular milkshakes, specialty coffees and teas.
THE GRILL ROOM BAR
There are two bars at The Wheatbaker, where you can meet with friends or partners, have a drink or just sit back and watch the world go by. With its fine range of wine, champagne and cigars, the Grillroom Bar is contemporary and delightful. There was a delightful snack menu, featuring new and delicious dishes suiting every palate, was available to satisfy my appetite.
The Grill Room Bar offers the ideal environment for a grilled meats and fish by the finest chefs. There I had a drink or two with friends and it was the perfect location for leisure where I enjoyed the sunlight at the beach, chilling and relaxing with friends and family and generally having a nice time.
THE WHEATBAKER SPA
The food was one thing, but the experience in the outdoor pool, sunbeds, spa and wellness center was another thing. I call it a taste of heaven.

What can be better than having a good night’s sleep after a day out in the restaurant, bar and spa at The Wheatbaker’s. There’s free Wi-Fi available everywhere in all the rooms which are all air-conditioned, with a coffee maker, a TV with 20 satellite channels, mini-bar, tea and coffee making facilities, direct-dial telephones, razor point and electronic safes. The luxury bathrooms also feature a hairdryer and a bath or a tub. Sitting in the tub having a warm bath was a super experience and a good way to call it a day.
