Follow these guidelines to prepare for your next trip:

  1. Different countries have different regulations, therefore, it is advisable to go through the travel guidelines for your destination. Once you do this, you have an idea of what is required of you to gain access into the country of your choice.
  2. Travel can increase the spread of the virus so it’s important to pack sanitizers and reusable or disposable masks.
  3. It is necessary to take a COVID – 19 PCR test within 48 – 72 hours before departure. If you take the tests before the stipulated time will be considered invalid.
  4. Fully vaccinated travelers are less likely to get and spread the virus. It’s advisable to get vaccinated to help curb the spread of the virus. Also, make sure to carry your vaccination cards and negative test results along with you on your travels.
  5. Always maintain social distancing and avoid crowds during the course of your trip to ensure your safety.
  6. When you return from your trip, get tested three to five days after. Be sure to self-quarantine for 7-10 days regardless of your result.
